India’s Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, who is on a visit to
held talks with her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir in Islamabad. They agreed to continue to dialogue process to resolve all issues.
While Nirupama talks about terrorism, Bashir raked up the issue.Both diplomats held a joint press conference after the meeting was over. “Pakistan has promised not to allow its soil to be used against India for terror activities. This is an important commitment”, said Nirupama Rao.
Nirupama Rao also met Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. As expected, Pakistancontinued to chant the “K” word. The country reportedly demanded reduction of troops from the border and withdrawal of some laws in Kashmir.
